Hi everyone,

I know I just announced that we'll only be reading posts to the General Technical Issues thread, but I'm making an exception since I think this is important...

We really appreciate everyone's enthusiasm for continuing to build in Blue Mars, and so we'd like to do what we can to help.
For starters, we're going to place Blocks around Beach City, and provide them free for interested Devs to build up however they want.

Since we won't be able to handle free-for-all updates of dozens of Blocks (and also because if no one is actually interested in participating, we won't waste time doing it), we're not going to put these free Blocks out on the Marketplace. Instead, we'd like to gather a list of willing participants, to whom we will give out the Blocks via "Lease to Specific Company".

We're not quite ready yet to start taking names--we hope to start in a day or two--but we will make another announcement through this forum, FB and Twitter once we're ready, so please be on the lookout.

Thanks again everyone--let's see if we can spiff up Beach City and show the rest of the world that Blue Mars is alive and well!

i'm def interested. i do have a question. how will you handle cases where we might want to include an entity? for example, what if i want to rent a block and put out my rafts?
