Below we compare the functions for getting user/avatar data such as Name and ClientID.
The provided functions can be used to get:
- the local player's data
- any avatar's data
- a minigame player's data
This function returns a table containing the following data for the logged in user.

This function returns a table containing the following data for any avatar by entity.
See ARVirtualWorld/GetAvatarData for further details.
Minigame player GetAvatarData(player_number)
This function returns a table containing the following data for a particular player number. It is limited to the context of a minigame launched by a game supervisor, and is called by the player script.
- Name (same as ARVirtualWorld.GetAvatarData's ShortName)
