Since version 0.80, the Blue Mars user client includes an auto-patch feature that should automatically download and install the required patch(es).

New Features

  • Snapshot and Twitter sharing!
1) Click on the Twitter icon on the Menu Tray to open Twitter on your Web browser.

2) The first time you use this feature, Twitter will ask for your permission to grant allow Blue Mars access to your Twitter account.


3) Click "Allow," and a window will pop up in the client for you to tweet something.

4) Click "Tweet," and you'll see a confirmation window.

5) Check your Twitter page and Twitpic to see your post and screenshot!

  • Lighting at the point of sale preview screen has been made brighter.

  • Seven additional makeup mask images have been added.

  • Welcome Area has been updated.
    • Reversi game has been added next to the tic-tac-toe boards.
    • Users now spawn in a mini-tutorial.
    • sign posts have been added that will teleport you around the welcome area.



Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug that was preventing the Places Browser from opening when there were over 65,535 files in the temporary files folder (see this forum post for details).
  • Fixed a potential security hole with chat.
  • Fixed various display bugs with the avatar profile.
