Overview

Function

MaskFlashEvents(movie, mask)
specifies this movie will block mouse events over underlying movies
movie - string name of the movie

Mask Types

The mask type specifies what region will block events. It can be one or a combination of

eFAF_MaskBounds
mask events that intersect bounds of movie clip
eFAF_MaskShape
mask events that intersect movie shapes
eFAF_MaskVisibleShape
mask events that intersect visible movie shapes
eFAF_MaskButton
mask events that would be processed by a movie event handler
eFAF_MaskAll
all of the above

Usage

To undo this function, call UnMaskFlashEvents

Examples

The Basic HUD Example shows an example of using this call, for a case where the popup is not modal

HUD.MaskFlashEvents(self.Hud.popup, eFAF_MaskVisibleShape);
